GCP's extensive global network and premium tier networking ensure that our booking platform operates with minimal latency, regardless of a user's location, which is critical for fast transactional data and geolocation services.
Serverless Scalability
We utilize **Cloud Run** and **GKE** for automatic scaling—down to zero when demand is low and instantly up to meet massive spikes during peak booking times. This ensures both cost efficiency and 100% reliability.
Native Geospatial Services
GCP's seamless integration with Google Maps Platform allows for efficient geo-fencing, real-time location tracking of parking spaces, and optimized route calculations for our users.
Operational Integration
Native IAM in GCP allows us to synchronize user identities, permissions, and internal admin accounts with **Google Workspace**. This single sign-on (SSO) vastly simplifies internal operations, from email to cloud governance.
Admin & Communication Sync
A critical component of our setup is the seamless synchronization between our hosting platform (GCP) and our internal operational suite (Google Workspace). This is how we create a single, secure identity layer.
Google Workspace
Manages all internal staff identities, permissions, and hosts all `rentmydrive.co` emails.
Google Cloud Platform
Runs the core website, booking engine, API, and database. Grants access based on Workspace identity.
The Sync in Action
Our admin accounts (e.g., `hello@rentmydrive.co`) are managed centrally in Google Workspace. These identities are then used to grant role-based access to specific GCP resources (like a database or monitoring dashboard), ensuring a secure, unified identity layer for all internal operations via **Cloud Identity**.
